UNIDO ITPO Tokyo hosted Ms. Heather Munyao, Investment Promotion Officer of Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) from 15th to 28th June 2016.
Profile
Ms. Heather has been working as Investment Promotion Officer for Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) since 2010. Her main duty is investment/business promotion from Asia to Kenya, providing the latest information of investment policies and legal regulations in Kenya, as well as supporting investors to find local business partners and counterparts at governmental organizations. She also serves as one of the TICAD VI Secretariat members in Kenya, mainly for “Japan-Africa Business Forum” and “Kenya House”.
Promotional Activities in Japan
She met with 20 Japanese companies and associations who are willing to expand their business in Kenya, and discussed their needs and issues individually. She also gave a presentation on investment climate and opportunities in Kenya at “Kenya Business Seminar” in Osaka on 27th June.
