UNIDO ITPO Tokyo held a workshop, “Business opportunities in developing countries” as a joint event at the “Smart Community Japan 2016” on 16 June 2016.
State of the art Japanese smart technologies have been attracting enormous amounts of attention from all over the world, and creating tremendous business opportunities for Japanese firms. The joint event, “Emerging business opportunities by means of Smart Technologies in developing countries”, delved on the art of business in developing countries by reviewing case studies of Japanese firms which have undertaken projects in Africa.
Besides the case studies, companies introduced their smart technologies to the audience, and participants posed a variety of inquiries from technical matters to the secrets of businesses in developing countries.
