Delegate Programme: Tanzania

UNIDO ITPO Tokyo invited Ms. Diana Ladislaus Mwamanga, Investment Officer of the Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC)[別窓] , for two weeks from 27 May to 7 June 2024, in order to introduce the investment climate and opportunities in Tanzania.  3 members of TIC including Executive Director, Mr. Gilead J. Teri came to Japan, with Ms. Diana Ladislaus Mwamanga attending as part of UNIDO ITPO Tokyo’s delegate programme.

Profile

Ms. Diana Ladislaus Mwamanga is an Investment Officer at the Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC), looking after East and Southeast Asia, including Japan. 
After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and working in the private sector, she assumed her current role in 2018.  Using her excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, she actively engages with investor companies and potential investors to attract and support investment from Japan, while introducing and advising on various investment opportunities.  

Promotional Activities

During her stay in Japan, Ms. Mwamanga attended the Tanzania Investment Seminar held in Tokyo and Osaka together with Executive Director, Mr. Teri and Principal Investment Officer, Department of Investment Facilitation, Mr. Ntimba. They introduced the investment climate and business opportunities in Tanzania in their presentations and held networking sessions with Japanese companies interested in expanding into Tanzania.  Individual meetings were also held in Tokyo, Osaka, and Shizuoka with Japanese companies interested in business and investment in Tanzania, as well as companies already doing business in Tanzania, providing necessary information according to each company’s situation.
