UNIDO ITPO Tokyo invited Mr. Ariful Hoque, Director, Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) from 26 September to 5 October 2022.

Mr. Hoque, with working experience with the Bangladesh government for 27 years, joined Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) in 2016 as Director. At BIDA he has been engaged in policy making, improvement of investment climate and attracting foreign direct investment into Bangladesh.

Mr. Hoque’s Activities during the Delegate Programme

Mr. Hoque attended “Business Matching with Bangladesh Companies” held in Osaka and Tokyo, and provided information and consultations to Japanese companies, while making presentations on Bangladesh investment opportunities at seminars organized during the matching events. Mr. Hoque also met with Japanese companies and organizations individually who have interests in business opportunities in Bangladesh.
