The First ECOWAS – Japan Business Forum will be held in Tokyo on 28 and 29 October 2015. UNIDO ITPO Tokyo is a co-organizer of the event.
The Forum follows the success of the Fifth Tokyo International Conference on African Development, (TICAD V) in 2013, and aims to showcase business opportunities in ECOWAS Member States and projects promoted by the Regional organization.
The Forum will also enable Japanese companies and institutions to appraise the array of investment opportunities available and to meet with ECOWAS counterparts interested in collaborating in the sectors of Banking and Finance, Infrastructure Development (Transport, Energy and Telecommunications), Agriculture, Mining, Culture and Tourism, amongst others.
