UNIDO ITPO Tokyo is inviting Mr. Tengiz Asanov, Deputy Head of the Investment Climate and Ratings Department, Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to Japan from 23 October to 2 November 2023.
Trained in economics, banking and finance, Mr. Asanov will promote the investment environment and opportunities in Uzbekistan to Japanese investors in sectors including (but not limited to) Agri-food, Energy, Textiles, Chemicals, ICT, Healthcare, and others.
Taking this opportunity, UNIDO ITPO Tokyo will organize the following events in Tokyo and Nagoya.
[1. Bilateral meetings with Mr. Asanov]
Mr. Asanov will be available to have bilateral meetings with Japanese companies/organizations interested in business and investment in Uzbekistan. Mr. Asanov would be available to discuss various issues, including potential investment and business opportunities, the latest investment climate, investment incentives, advice on particular sectors, etc. If interested, please contact UNIDO ITPO Tokyo to arrange a meeting schedule.

[2. Nagoya: Uzbekistan Business and Investment Seminar]
On Tuesday, 24 October, UNIDO ITPO Tokyo, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Japan and the Friendship Association of Nagoya and Uzbekistan, will be hosting a seminar titled “Uzbekistan Business and Investment Seminar” in Nagoya. In this seminar, Mr. Tengiz Asanov, Deputy Head, Investment Climate Department, Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, will present the details of investment climate and incentives for Japanese companies. In addition, Japanese companies who have invested in Uzbekistan will talk about their business experiences.
