Uganda-Japan Business Forum, 1 December 2022

UNIDO ITPO Tokyo will organize “Uganda-Japan Business Forum ~Boosting Economic Recovery and Enterprise Resilience through Sustainable Business Linkages~” on 1 December 2022, jointly with the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Japan, while Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda, is visiting Japan.

The forum will be opened with remarks from both Uganda and Japan representatives, followed by the keynote speech by the Prime Minister. Subsequent sessions will begin with presentations on the business and investment situation from Ugandan authorities. In the following panel discussion, we will invite panelists including Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabanjja, Prime Minister of the Republic of Uganda, and Japanese public and private sector officials and explore how to strengthen the business partnership between Uganda and Japan. Finally, after the seminar, there will be a reception and networking which will be the opportunity to interact with the panelists and attendees.

This will be the first face-to-face business forum seizing the opportunity of the Prime Minister’s visit to Japan from Africa after the TICAD8.
