Senegal Delegate (Online)

UNIDO ITPO Tokyo is organizing an online delegate programme with the following two officials from APIX (Promotion of Investments and Major Works Senegal), joined by the  Ms. Aïssatou NDIAYE, our advisor in Senegal for 13 April – 27 May 2021, for promotion of the latest investment climate and business opportunities in Senegal to encourage Japanese business communities to further invest in the country.

Mr. Diop has been working for over fifteen years to increase FDI in Senegal, through strategic facilitation of investment policies in key sectors, follow-ups on business activities of the registered companies and coordination among relevant organizations/agencies. 

Ms. Gueye, who has been providing advice on the latest investment climate and expanding investment opportunities at APIX, visited Japan during the last delegate programme in March 2013.  She conducted individual meetings with Japanese companies and relevant organizations who displayed interests in expanding their businesses into Senegal. 

During this programme, they will be conducting individual online meetings with Japanese companies to provide hand-holding support that meets company-specific needs. They also spoke online at the “Senegal Business and Investment Seminar”:

Eligibility:

1. Japanese companies or relevant organizations with interests in doing business in Senegal (e.g. To collect local information or introduce your business)
2. Japanese companies who have already started their businesses in Senegal
*Some of the priority areas of Senegal include, but are not limited to, Agribusiness, fishery, manufacturing, digital and services (health and finance etc).
