UNIDO will organize the Japan-UNIDO Multi-stakeholder Cooperation Dialogue “Partnering for Africa’s challenge on plastic litter” on 7 October 2019 at the United Nations University in Tokyo.
G20 Resource Efficiency Dialogue week will be held in Japan in October 2019 to follow up the G20 Osaka Summit held on June 28-29, 2019, in which “Osaka Blue Ocean Vision” was shared for reducing additional pollution by marine plastic litter to zero by 2050.
In this context, UNIDO, as a leading UN agency promoting circular economy and resource efficiency on industry, will organize the Japan-UNIDO Multi-stakeholder Cooperation Dialogue on 7 October 2019. Speakers and panelists from Africa and Japan in private, public and academic sectors will discuss an effective partnership to tackle with marine plastic issue in Africa.
