UNIDO ITPO Tokyo is inviting Mr. Mohamed Aref Hassani, Managing Director of Midparc Casablanca Free Zone, from 26 to 30 November 2018.
Midparc is a free industrial zone for the aerospace industry, located right next to the main airport in Casablanca, known as the center of commerce and finance of the country. Since the opening of Midparc in 2013, many global companies has set up their production sites in this free zone. In June 2018, Airbus also inaugurated their integrated platform for logistics and paintings.
Mr. Hassani is an experienced officer who worked for Foreign Investment Office, Governmental Office in charge of foreign investment promotion for nearly 15 years, and attracted foreign investments at Tanger Mediterranean Special Agency (TMSA) as Executive Director of Tanger Free zone. In 2013, he was appointed to Managing Director of the Midparc and has been promoting the aerospace industry in Morocco. With regard to Japan, the first visit was UNIDO’s delegate programme over 20 years ago. Since then, Japan is one of the reliable business partners he has been working together.
During his stay in Japan, he will visit the Japan International Aerospace Exhibition 2018 Tokyo and meet with Japanese companies to update the latest business movements and opportunities in the aerospace industry in Morocco. In addition, he will speak at “Morocco Aerospace Seminar” to be held in Tokyo on 29th November.
