UNIDO Seminar on Business opportunities of Environmental Technology in Developing Counties at "Smart Community Japan 2016"

UNIDO ITPO TOKYO will host a seminar called “Business opportunities of Environmental Technology in Developing Counties” as a workshop in the “Smart Community Japan 2016” on June 16, 2016.

Increasing demands of Japan’s smart techniques in developing countries

More and more environmental conservation has been getting attention around the world in developing countries as well as developed countries although in general, many people still assume cutting-edge environmental technologies are designed for developed countries. Japan has numerous prominent environmental technologies, and potentially, there can be huge business opportunities for Japanese firms.

UNIDO accumulates knowledge in terms of what developing countries demand through decades of experiences in developing countries. In this seminar, UNIDO ITPO TOKYO will demonstrate case studies of Japanese firms’ expansion into developing countries as well as the current conditions of environmental conservation.

The “Smart Community Japan 2016” is an event, in which exhibitors showcase Japan’s smart techniques, including next generation energy and technologies for improvement of environment. UNIDO ITPO Tokyo will participate in this event, and exhibit some environmental technologies so that it can accelerate technology transfer for smart techniques to developing countries.
