Energy and Environment related technologies and solutions:

UNIDO ITPO Tokyo promotes investment and technology transfer from Japan to developing countries through FDI, JV, licensing of technology, etc., with emphasis on among other things the following energy and environment related technologies and solutions which Japanese enterprises possess.

Those who wish ITPO Tokyo to upload relevant information of their product, service and/or technology on this web site like the ones already uploaded, please contact with ITPO Tokyo, through itpo.tokyo@unido.org.

ITPO Tokyo will not use any information which it comes to know through this process for any purpose other than the above. The contents to be uploaded will be decided by both the applicant and ITPO Tokyo, though, the decision whether to upload it or not will be made solely by ITPO Tokyo.


     


A: Low carbon and energy conservation

Energy saving technology in agriculture, fishing, and forestry, industrial processes, buildings and household, and energy sector is classified into the categories 1 - 4. Category 5 includes technology related to renewable energy, such as wind power, photovoltaic, small-scale hydraulic, geothermal, etc. Category 6 includes technology which leads to carbon absorption.



B: Prevention and destruction of pollution

Technologies for treatment of pollutant and toxicant in the biosphere are classified into categories 1 to 9. Categories 6 - 7 include purification technology to produce drinking water.

Categories 1 - 4 include end-of-life recycling technology. Categories 1 and 2 are distinguished by materials to be recycled: categories 3 and 4 are by product to be recycled. Technology concerning waste discharged from intermediary production processes are classified into category 6.

Banana Fiber Project

End of Life Vehicle (ELV) Recycling

Recycling programme (Zero Emission) for used cars dumped in developing countries


Waste Water Treatment

Water recycling system for public flush toilets using oyster shells


Artificial Zeolite Production from Ash

Conversion of ash into environmental use such as in agriculture, live-stock, marine, environmental conservation, civil engineering/construction, public health, desert greening, urban environment, etc.
