A Water-producing Server Without
Tap Water to Create Safe Drinking
Water by Condensing Humidity
Scuring drinkable water is one of the most significant issue in developing countries. This water-producing server “Sarastear®” can offer a practical solution to areas where water purification facilities are not sufficiently developed. It utilizes the technology to condense moisture in the air surrounding the server, to filter it into safe drinking water and to conduct a periodic circulation, which let you enjoy delicious, safe and clean drinking water at any time.

The indoor Home & Office Series produces roughly 20 to 130 liters of water per day, while the outdoor Industrial Series can secure roughly 103 to 19,880 liters of water per day in environments without access to water.

Major Features and Advantages
The capabilities of Sarastear® can be broadly divided into three categories.
(1) Moisture is collected from the surrounding air ultra-efficiently.

Our unique technology collects moisture from the air in two stages of condensation. This is our ultra-efficient water collection technology.
To meet our rigorous water safety standards, the air surrounding the water server passes through HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filter before entering the server. Having air pass through this HEPA filter catches more than 99.97% of particulate matter all the way down to 0.3μm, meaning airborne dust and dirt will not enter the server! After the filtration by HEPA, moisture is condensed by cooling unit. Then condensed water is stored in the Collection Tank (bottom tank).
(2) Stored water is transformed into safe, delicious drinking water using a five-filter system and deep ultraviolet LED to kill viruses

The condensed water passes through five filters, transforming itself into potable water. Filters other than Mineral Filter remove bacteria and viruses in the water. The five filters used here have different mesh sizes, with the smallest mesh of 0.001μm, allowing it to remove PM 2.5, viruses and mycoplasma for safe drinking water.

Once minerals have been added, the created water passes through an original filter that absorbs bacteria and is collected in the Storage Tank (top tank). Deep ultraviolet LED is installed in both the Collection Tank and the Storage Tank ensure that the tank is disinfected at all times.
(3) Regular water circulation keeps water fresh at all times
While the Storage Tank allows for storage of safe drinking water, leaving the water unused for days lets the tiny amounts of bacteria and viruses in the air proliferate within the top tank, diminishing water safety. That is why the Sarastear® system refilters the water in the Storage Tank every three hours using the five filters installed in the server to maintain optimal water safety and freshness.
The SDGs state that “Roughly one-third of the world’s population, or about 2.2 billion people, lack access to safe drinking water. In addition, roughly 4.2 billion people do not have access to safely managed sanitation.” Installing a combination of the Sarastear® Industrial Series with solar powered batteries in developing countries allows the creation of a water supply system using nothing but the power of nature.
Sarastear® is especially crucial for developing countries because it is the fastest way to save the lives of those without access to safe drinking water.
No wells need to be drilled, and water can be produced continuously on the spot where Sarastear® is installed.
Once Sarastear® is installed, just connect it to a single battery and a power source, then turn it on.
While the power source may be an issue here, a variety of technologies have been developed for power, the most common being solar-powered batteries. Using these batteries, we can create water from natural air.
No other construction processes are needed to produce safe drinking water—all you have to do is wait.
What’s more, this system can be customized to produce not only drinking water but agricultural water and more, meaning we can create water based on whatever situation it requires it.

Unlike typical water servers, Sarastear® does not require gallon bottles or other supplies. This reduces the amount of plastic waste from used gallon bottles.

All that is required for basic maintenance is the regular replacement of the consumable filters. These replacements are performed at a particular time and require no daily maintenance.

All Sarastear® products are equipped with a monitor that lets you see the temperature/amount of water as well as other information at a glance, and allow you to get water with the push of single button.

Maintains drinking water safety and provides a constant supply of fresh water
Consisting of five filters, including a HEPA filter and deep ultraviolet LED, our unique filtration system provides a constant supply of potable water and is designed to keep water safe and fresh.
1. Since warm air usually contains high amounts of water vapor, Sarastear® products require an ambient temperature of 30 degrees Celsius (centigrade) and 80% humidity for maximum performance.

- The filters installed are able to remove the following hazardous substances and viruses.
- HEPA Filter: Catches approximately 99.97% of fine particles down to 0.3 μm from air drawn into the product.
- Sediment Filter: The 5 μm (micrometer) mesh removes even the smallest impurities contained in water, including rust, sand, and dust.
- Ultra-Filtration Filter: The miniscule 0.001 μm holes filter small substances, including pollen, PM2.5, viruses, and mycoplasma (a kind of bacteria that causes colds, pneumonia, bronchitis, and more).
– Zero Bacteria Filter: Unique Sarastear® technology that adsorbs only the bacteria found in water. After adsorption, clean water is passed through activated carbon and silver ions to further purify it before it reaches you.
Technical maturity / Past record of introduction
Sarastear® began selling officially in Japan in 2018, and so far over 300 units of Sarastear-neo20 (Home & Office Series product) have been installed worldwide. Including Nigeria, Kenya, Cote d’Ivoire, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India and China.
The number of installations has been risen yearly, and this year more than 10,000 units are already scheduled for installation worldwide.
While we use the cutting-edge technology, our factory line and inspection sites can produce up to 3,000 units a month.
