Solar-Powered Solutions:
Small-Type Medical Waste Incinerator
Featuring a low running cost and easy maintenance, Stella Environment Corporation’s Radiation Gas-Burning Small-Type Medical Waste Incinerator is ideal for areas where the energy supply is not stable or even available. It is an efficient small-type incinerator with chimney-top structure with the following characteristics:
• Low concentration of dioxin emissions in compliance with Japanese (Dioxin) Emission Standards
• Extremely safe to operate
• Easy to deposit waste
• Low fuel consumption
• Easy maintenance
• Solar powered
• Highly efficient
• Compact design
The incinerator is able to burn 5kg max (wet waste 40%) per one-hour cycle at 800-900˚C. The burning capacity will vary depending on the materials that are contained in the waste batch.
Major Features and Advantages
I. Low Fuel Consumption
It is highly efficient, consuming only 7L of diesel oil/hour/cycle or 5kgs of wood per cycle. In addition, it can function on either gas oil or biomass fuel. No other incinerators can offer these options for temperatures of more than 800℃ with a residual gas burning time over two seconds.
II. Easy Waste Depositing/High Operational Safety
This machine is easy to use by anyone with minimal training. Waste deposits are quick and operations are extremely safe. And, with such efficient operation, there is a decrease in the cost associated with running it due to low energy consumption and ease of use. Technical guidance is given to workers to learn how to use the machine.
III. Solar-Powered Unit
Because this equipment is solar-powered, it can be used in areas where the energy supply is unstable. Energy produced by sunlight can be stored in the machine for later use – much like solar panels on a home.
IV. Affordable Running Cost
Featuring a low cost of operation, Stella’s Radiation Gas-Burning Small-Type Medical Waste Incinerator only costs $2.5/cycle and $3750 for the year with wood and $10.5/cycle and $15,700/year for oil.
V. Easy Maintenance
The main body of the incinerator comes with very little maintenance requirements. In fact, just four components (Disposal Box, Buffer Plate, Burner Chip and Temperature Sensor) must be changed every four years.
VI. Small and Efficient
Despite its small size, Stella’s incinerator is highly efficient and produces a high output.
Stella Environment Corporation’s Radiation Gas-Burning Small-Type Medical Waste Incinerator has been tested in Micronesia, Cambodia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is most effective in areas that don’t have access to electricity but do have access to plenty of sunlight. It is vital in waste management and adequate waste separation.

Conceivable applications
The features of the small-type incinerator with chimney-top structure are as follows.
- Low concentration of dioxin emissions that complies with Japanese (Dioxin) Emission Standards.
- Easy waste depositing / High operational safety
- Functions on gas oil or biomass fuel. Low fuel consumption.
- Solar-powered electricity accessory which enables the operation even in areas where energy supply is not stable.
Competitive advantage
Note: This comparison chart is solely based on in-house estimates.
Characteristics of STELLA’s incinerator:
- Low running cost
- Easy maintenance of the main body. Only 4 parts (Disposal Box, Buffer Plate, Burner Chip, & Temperature Sensor) need to be changed every 4 years.
- Choice of fuel (Diesel Oil or Biomass) – no other incinerators support these options while maintaining over 800℃ temperatures and residence time of burning gas over 2 seconds.
- Small but highly efficient.
