UNIDO ITPO Tokyo organized “Cuba Business Seminar” in Sapporo jointly with the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba on 14 March 2018.

The seminar was attended by around 25 participants from local companies and organizations, and started with an introductory presentation with photos and a video of Cuban culture and tourist attractions by Ms. Maylem Rivero, Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba, who is in charge of tourism as well as economy and commerce.

Mr. Marcel Casas, invited from the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba to Japan, explained about business opportunities in Cuba and requested the audience to cooperate in promoting agriculture sector in Cuba. Active Q&A session was organized after the presentations.
